After 7 weeks of hard work, it came to the day Kane had to fight. He recieved a unanimous decision and won!
Here’s what he had to say about his journey:
“So I won my first fight in 3 years out the ring. I was able to achieve this by dedicating myself and being consistent with it. Leading up to the fight I had 7 weeks notice and managed to drop 8kg for my fighting weight, this meant I had to be very strict on myself when tracking my calories in order to attain my goal.
On top of that, my training regime would consist of 2-3 training session per day Monday – Friday, treating it like my job on top of my job. I wouldn’t have to train as much if it was only weight loss I was trying to achieve but I need to make sure I was fighting fit and could go the rounds without feeling gassed. After a hard fought fight against a tough opponent, I got a unanimous decision.
Now just because I’ve achieved this it doesn’t mean I can step off the gas, I’ve now celebrated, had a few takeaways but I’ve got to keep my eyes on the prize and onto the next one from here at I look to fight again very soon!”
