When fasting through Ramadan, you are advised to conserve your energy throughout the day.
But we find our members still coming in exercise as usual….here’s why
Monique is a member of Transformation Fit that still comes in regularly to workout. Here’s what she had to say:
“I choose to exercise throughout ramadan because I like my workouts too much to leave it for a whole month. Even for me it is the first time working out in ramadan, but I tried the first time and it realy feels good”
Here’s her advice if you’re still nervous:
“I think if you are nervous about working out you just need to try it like I did. I was not sure about it but I picked 11 as my training time at it works out perfectly for me so I think everybody needs to find their “time”.
I eat in the morning before starting my fasting at around 4:30 at this time and take a protein shake So I think when I go at 11 there is plenty calories to burn.
Then I just try to take it easy for the rest of the day, so just the regular things to do.
But again everybody needs to find their time”
Need help figuring out your time? Some find it helpful to workout just before the last meal of the day. This way you are able to refuel and rehydrate your body after your workout!
